Dashbox Review

On the first blogger event in Maribor, called SummerMBeauty, we got this Dashbox. It's a subscription box, that you get once a month. In the Dashbox you get 4-5 products, mainly testers, but you can also get full size products. Then, if you like the products, you can actually buy them in their online store. This particular Dashbox includes Makeup Revolution, Farmasi, Philip Martin's and Jessica products. This one was designed especially for the bloggers at the event.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

It has a sturdy black packaging with a clear lid, so you can see the pretty design inside. The highlighter it is super pigmented , it has a powdery texture and it is a tiny bit chalky, but very glowy. On the pictures it looks white, my phone couldn't pick up the color. In reality it is golden, as you can see on the swatch. If you love glowy looks, this highlighter is definitely for you. The packaging contains 7.5g of product.

Farmasi Elegant Lipstick in 01

I don't wear lipsticks a lot, especially this kind of bright red shades, so I didn't test it properly. It has a creamy texture. I had some troubles when applying it, but this was probably because I'm not used to applying such intense shades.

The brush of this bright nail varnish is quite skinny, but it applies the product well. The formula is easy to work with. It is opaque in one coat, but I still applied two coats. It dries very shiny. The bottle contains 11ml.

Philip Martin's Shampoo and Conditioner

I don't like the smell of both of them at all. Maybe because I prefer more fruity smelling hair products. There is nearly not enough shampoo or my long and thick hair. The shampoo is very liquidy and it doesn't foam nicely. It is supposed to be for the volume, but it didn't do anything for my hair. The conditioner is thicker, but I don't like it. It didn't do anything for my hair either.

Jesica Hand & Body Moisturizing Emulsion

It's not bad, but it's not my favourite either. It's on the thicker side and it nourishes the hands well, but it leaves my hands greasy for quite some time and I hate that, because I can't do anything other with my hands in the meantime.

Oil Intensive Moisturizer has a pipette. It gets a little messy when applying, but it sinks into the skin quick. It is great for the cuticles. High Gloss in a Flash is a normal top coat, it doesn't take long to dry. It gives some shine to the nails, but I didn't test how long it lasted. And the nail file. I don't even remember when it was the last time I used this type of a nail file. For the past couple of years I have been using only glass ones. I don't really know what to say about a nail file, it files the nails well, but I still prefer glass nail files.

I like the idea of the box and that you get something for everything, for hair, nails, some makeup, but I would maybe like something for skincare too, especially for the face. It is great if you want to try out some new brands. I would love if they included a card or some kind of leaflet with a little description of the brand and all the products that are in the box. I basically searched for some on the internet.
