Today I'm going to talk about a product that Oriflame has kindly sent to me. Before I even got it, I saw a picture on Instagram and I thought this would be interesting to try out. It is a Tender Care Protecting Balm. There is quite a few versions of this balm out, I'm not even sure how many. I got a Organic Honey Protecting Balm. At first I thought it's a lip balm, but then I figured it out it's also for dry skin patches, eyebrows and more. It have mostly used it as a lip balm.
It comes in a cute little box. The actual product comes in a egg-shapped packaging, it's something similar than the EOS lip balms. On the bottom there is a name of the product and on the lid is an O in a nice font, which I suppose stands for Oriflame. The design is beautyful, yellow with gold detailing.
The consistency is really creamy. When applied it melts and softens. On the lips it feels a bit creamier than a normal lip balm. It's not the most nourishing on the lips and you have to reapply it quite offten. It's a whole different story when I use it on my cuticles. I massage it into the cuticles, it sinks in quickly and it leaves the cuticles feeling nourished and looking better, especially in this cold weather conditions we are having. I like that it's not very oily, so I don't make a mess everywhere, when I moisturize my cuticles.
Although the packaging is gorgeous, it is also a bit of a downside. I don't have very long nails and I still had problems with reaching for the product. I can't imagine someone with long nails to do it. It is also not very hygenic to reach with fingers over and over again into the packaging.
I adore the scent, I'm normally not a big fan of honey scents, but this one is very nice. It smells like honey, I detect something else too, but I'm not sure what. The packaging contains 15ml and it costs 4.49€. Here you can get this one and some other Oriflame balms, some of them are even discounted right now. I would recommend it to you, if you want a multi-purpose product, or if you want to use it for you cuticles, but for the lips I woudn't really recommend it.
Thank you for reading!
