I can't believe we finally have The Body Shop in Slovenia. It was one of the brands I really wanted to try, believe it or not, I have never tried anything from them. Before The Body Shop even launched their online shop, we bloggers got to try some products at the Beautiful Bloggers MeetUp, where we also got a few products to try. I was most excited for the body butter, we also got a liquid lipstick. I didn't know that they have so many makeup products, I have never seen anyone really talk about them. Especially since the lipstick really impressed me.
Matt Lip Liquid Sydney Amaryllis
The lipstick comes in a sleek, round and shiny packaging, which is in the shade of the lipstick. The lid is velvety and black. You get 8ml of product for 8,90€. The doe foot applicator is quite small, soft and really easy to work with.
Sydney Amaryllis is a vibrant red shade with some orange undertones. I really like this type of shades for my skin tone. Even though it's a vibrant colour, it is still easy to apply, but it does bleed a bit around the corners, so you will probably need a lip liner. It has a very sweet bubble gum scent.
The lipstick is well pigmented, it's not completely opaque with one swipe, but two or three will be good. It needs about 10 Minutes to set, it dries into a velvet matte finish. The formula feels like a mousse and it's comfortable on the lips, it's one of the most lightweight matte liquid formulas I have tried. For about two hours it feels like I don't even wear anything, but then it does start to feel just a bit dry, but nothing like some other matte liquid lipstick. I didn't notice it would emphasize dry patches, even though my lips are super dry lately. It transfers a little. The lipstick lasts for 4+ hours on the lips, but most times it won't survive eating.
Body Butter Frosted Plum
This body butter is part of their Christmas collection. I like the packaging, round and plastic, with a black lid and a festive sticker on top. I got a small size, so in this one you get 50ml of product for 6,90€, the big one costs 17,50€.
The consistency of the body butter is thick and creamy. It melts quickly, so it's easy to spread. Comparing to body lotions from Balea, these ones are far better. My skin got very dry now in winter and Balea's lotions weren't enough. But this body butter keeps my skin nourished till the next day when I apply it again. Also, it smells amazing, the scent also lasts for a while. I love it, I would say they are worth the money, even though they are quite expensive. I just hope I get a chance to try some more soon.
I like the lipstick so much that I actually wanted to order one more wearable shade for me but just this week I got a surprise from The Body Shop with a gift set of three of the lipstick, I'm very grateful for that. The body butters are still on my wishlist, I really want to try the mango collection, which is their most sold line. Of course, I would love to try some of their other products too. If you are interested, I made a whole Wishlist not long ago.
Thank you for reading!

IzbrišiTekoče šminke so meni zelo podobne NYX-ovim Soft Matte Lip Creams.
Nairobi Camellia ze vidim bo moja go to sminka.
Noro navdusena.
Ah škoda, moja se čudovito nanaša :D Nairobi Camellia izgleda super odtenek, ne preveč roza, rano prav za mene :D Body Butterji so top, ta Vanilla Chai me tako mika, me res zanima kako diši :D
