Winter Pampering with Afrodita

Afrodita is a brand that I have known and loved for years. Last year I was part of the Beautiful Bloggers Meetup where we got a goodie bag with two Afrodita's products, one we could choose ourselves. I have used their face products before, but I don't think I used their body products. I have used all three of the products though winter when my skin was very dry and I decided to do a quick reviews because two of them really impressed me.

All products are from Afrodita's 100% Spa line. They say the line contains personal wellness products which are easy to use in the comfort of your own home to help maintain the balance, optimum health and beauty of your skin, your general well-being, a positive attitude and harmony with the world around you. The products are used to detoxify the body and mind, to keep the skin firm and elastic, for anti-stress and relaxing massage or for nourishing skin care. They don't contain parabens, paraffin, silicones or preservatives.

Body Soufflé

The soufflé is my absolute favourite out of these three products. It has such an interesting consistency, it's a bit fluffy and jelly. I love the scent, it smells like lavender and it has a relaxing effect. I didn't expect a lot of nourishment from this one, but it's great. It does contain argan oil, it's not as nourishing as the body milk, but it's still good enough for the cold winter days when my skin gets very dry. It sinks into the skin fairly quickly and leaves a nice scent for a couple of hours. I love that it comes in a big packaging so it will last me a long time.

Salt Scrub

This is my least favourite products. It's that typical salt peeling, but very harsh on the skin. I like my scrubs to be rough, so I have a feeling they are doing something, but this one is very harsh and it doesn't feel nice on the skin. Also, the salt doesn't dissolve, it stays on the shower floor and it takes some time to clean. It does contain argan oil, so it leaves a bit of a nourishing film on the skin, but it's nothing compared to my beloved Raspberry peeling from Malinca.

Nourishing-Gold Therapy Body Milk

This is a product that I chose myself. We could choose between this nourishing milk, a firming one and a detox one. We were getting into winter so I chose nourishment. The body milk comes in a big plastic bottle with a pump. It has a luxurious scent. The consistency of this milk is thick and rich, but still quite easy to spread and it leaves a slight film on the skin for a couple of hours. It's perfect for those days when your skin is extra dry.

I love both of the body creams, both are well nourishing and perfect for my dry skin. I prefer the shoufflé, mostly because of the interesting texture and because it's easier to apply. Also, the scent is amazing. The salt scrub is horrible, it's too harsh for my liking, I probably won't use it again.
