Essence Happy Kawaii TE

Happy Kawaii is a new trend edition from Essence. The whole collection is about sweet and cute products. The collection is already available and it will be until mid of May, but I'm sure after that you can still find it in some stores. I got a chance to try four of the products, if you want to know what I think about them, keep reading.

Colour Changing Blush 01 Happiness is Ice Cream!

This is one of those green products that turns pink when it touches the skin. It comes in cute packaging that looks like ice cream, you have to twist the product out. The product is very creamy and easy to blend. It turns in a natural pink shade, maybe a touch too pink for my liking. It is super easy to apply, but it doesn't seem to last very long on my cheeks.

Pink Hair Chalk 01 Nothin' Without Muffin

I haven't owned one of these since I was a kid. I think Essence has a hair chalk in every few limited editions. I didn't think this would work very well on my dark brown hair, but it does, it leaves a very vibrant pink colour. I have only tried it on a few pieces of hair, but I did hear that this can leave marks if you wear a light t-shirt, but I haven't experienced anything like this. It goes away when you wash your hair. Also, like I said, the pink is very vibrant, even on my dark hair.

Socks 01 Muffin Compares to You

This is a first time I have received socks as PR mail. The socks are quite a nice quality and as you can see, they are super cute with a big cupcake on top, with a fluffy and soft fabric as a frosting and pink polka dots all over them. Maybe it would be better if they were at least pink, because the white ones will be dirty quickly, but saying that, I will only wear them for lounging at home. They come in only one uni-size, but they fit me well. Price for these is 3,29€.

Eye Palette 01 Calories Donut Count!

I didn't expect to like this palette so much. It comes in what seems to be a sturdy plastic packaging, but if you drop it, the lid will probably break. There are five eyeshadows in the palette, three more colourful ones, red, purple and a blue-ish one, two are more natural, one golden and one brown, perfect for in the crease, the last one is a highlighter. I only miss one more wearable shade to put all over the eyelid or to blend everything together.

The eyeshadows are buttery soft, some are well pigmented and some a bit less. Also, with fingers, they perform okay, but with a brush, you will need to build them up more. There is a minimum fall out. The finish is semi-metallic and very pretty. I noticed it does stay throughout the entire day with just minimal fading, but it does start to crease a bit, even with a primer, but do consider I have oily eyelids. Now for the golden highlighter, I actually really like it, it applies smooth, doesn't emphasize the skin texture, it does contain some shimmer, but still looks natural. A very nice highlighter if you have a slightly darker skin.

First, when I got the collection, I don't know why, but I thought it's Sweet Kawaii instead of Happy Kawaii, similar, but not really. I doubt you noticed, but if you did, that's why it says Sweet Kawaii on the photos. If I'm honest, I couldn't be bothered to edit the photos again. Overall, I like the collection, it's a bit childish but still cute. My favourite is the palette, I love the two natural eyeshadows and also the highlighter.
