Perfect Brows with L.O.V

Today I will review two of the new brow products from L.O.V cosmetics. I was sure that both of them are from their limited edition Code: Nude - The Eyebrow Collection. When I started writing this review I realised that only the brow pomade is part of the collection and the brow palette is joining the regular assortment. The limited edition is available since the start of February, but I'm not sure how long these last. Two products that I got to test are the BROWlights Eyebrow Pomade & Highlighter in shade 120 Powerful Ebony and the BROWttitude Professional Eyebrow Palette in shade No. 500 Blonde Perfection.

The palette comes in a sturdy cardboard packaging. You get a brow powder with a lighter and darker side, a brow pomade, a fixing wax and a highlighter. Also included are the mini tweezers, a double-ended applicator and a few stencils. The palette comes with a mirror too. You get 5g of product for 14,99€. There are two palettes available, a lighter and a darker one, I got the lighter one, called Blonde Perfection, and it seems to work fine, even though I have pretty dark eyebrows.

The brow powder is nice, I only use the darker side and it works well. I don't use the pomade much, but it seems like a nice shade. Also, it's not very pigmented and it's great for those who are not experts in doing eyebrows. The fixing wax I do use and I like it, it helps to keep my eyebrows in place. The last one, the highlighter, is another one that I don't really use, I just can't be bothered with it, if I'm honest.

Now for the other stuff. The mini tweezers are useless, you have to push hard to even make them work. They are also too sharp, they don't pull out anything, they just cut the hair. Not a fan. I do like the brush, it's compact, the angled brush is stiff and easy to use, I even used it with some other brow products. The brush on the other side is again a perfect size and nice to use. Then we have four stencils. I never used stencils, because none really fit my eyebrows. These have a silicone feel to them and the first one actually fits my eyebrows, it's the most natural looking one.

I like the palette. I still use the brow powder with some fixing wax here and there, but the brush I use quite a lot lately. I would just prefer if the packaging was smaller, it's quite bulky.

The pomade comes in a plastic packaging that I actually really like. It's sturdy, the lid closes well and it looks more expensive than it is. You get 5,7g of product for 9,99€. This comes in three shades, I got the darkest one called Powderful Ebony. 

I use the brush from the palette to apply the product. It comes with a pomade and with a highlighter. I don't use the highlighter at all, again, I can't be bothered. I have tried it and it's very creamy, in the pot it looks that it's very shimmery, but it's not, it just gives a lot of sheen. The pomade comes in a very dark brown shade. I have heard so much good stuff about it, but mine seems to be weird. It's not creamy at all, it's like it was on air for a long time, it's hard to touch and it's hard to get a decent pigmentation. Maestra on her Youtube channel mentioned that the same thing happened to her, but other bloggers liked it and didn't mention anything like this.

I like the shade, I love the packaging, it easier to use than the palette, but it's a shame that the pomade is so hard to use. I didn't remember yet, but next time when I'm in the store I need to see if they have any testers and see if it's the same story or not. 

I don't bother much with my brows, I just recently started using an eyebrow mascara, but I still wanted to try these two products out. I like both of them, but I don't have much to say, considering I can't compare it to a lot of other brow products. I prefer the palette, even though it's bulky and not so easy to work with. Also, I just saw that L.O.V cosmetics is leaving Slovenia, Müller stores have 50% discount on the brand, so quickly grab what you like, because it won't be available anymore. I would really recommend trying their nail polishes.
