Revolution Flawless 4 Eyeshadow Palette

Makeup Revolution, or like it's now called, only Revolution has so many new products every month that I can't even keep up with them. They mostly come out with high-end makeup dupes but I never really pay attention to them. The one product that I did notice and I have on my WL is their concealer, which is supposed to be a dupe for Tarte's Shape Tape.

Today I'm reviewing a palette I got on the Revolution event. It's called Flawless 4 Eyeshadow Palette. The design of the palette is pretty and very minimalistic, with rose gold lid and black back. The lid is shiny and reflective, every fingerprint is visible on it. The palette seems to be good quality, it closes well and the plastic doesn't feel cheap. It comes with a huge mirror, which is always a plus. Also, one thing that I really like is that it doesn't come with an applicator. I never use those, but I don't want to throw them away either, so it bothers me, when they keep falling out of the palette. In the palette, you get 32x0,625g of product for around 10€.

Flawless 4 contains 32 shadows, mix of matte and shimmery ones. You get a variety of basic shades, like white, black and brown, but you also have some warm orange, pink, red, purple shades. You can use it to create a simple nude eye look, or get a little bit out there and experiment.

The eyeshadows feel soft to the touch, but used with the brush they seem very powdery, they also dust. Surprisingly there isn't much fallout after I apply the whole eyeshadow look.

The pigmentation depends on the shade, the matte ones are more pigmented (some even very pigmented) than the shimmery ones, but there are some exceptions. You will need a bit of time when blending them, but at the end, they blend together and they actually look really nice and smooth on the lids.

Even though the formula of the shadows is not my favourite, I was impressed by how long these lasted on me. With a primer, they lasted the whole day, even on those hot days and they even survived a workout, I could only see a bit of creasing at the very end of the day. I did notice shimmery shadows start to crease a bit earlier. When I wore shimmery shadows I could also see some fallout under my eyes and on my cheeks after some hours, but with mattes that wasn't a problem.

Overall, I'm surprised, I didn't expect so much from this palette, I haven't heard many positive reviews on Revolution's shadows (the chocolate ones are an exception though). I'm not a big fan of the formula of the shadows but at the end, they blend great and look gorgeous, they are very longlasting, even on my oily lids. I would recommend it if you like these type of warm shades.
