This post I had in mind for the whole of December but I didn't get around to do it. I even noticed that I could have posted better pictures so you (and I) could see how much of the product I actually used up. If I do another one of these posts, I will make sure I post some better ones. I liked the challenge, I finished a few products, but some I didn't use much. I think I will do it again this year but I'm not sure if I'm going to do a blog post about it.
Oriflame Giordani Gold Radiant Complexion Cream Stick Bronze Glow
I have used this just a couple of times, as you can see. I kind of forgot about it, I should have kept it on top of my desk, but it was in the back of my drawer, so I didn't see it. I remember that I liked using it in the summertime, I will wait till the late spring/summer to see if I will use it, otherwise, I will give it away.
Avon Shine Burst Gloss Stick Iced Mocha
I liked the shade and I liked the formula, but the twist system broke and it was a messy everytime I tried to use it. I just didn't reach for it, I will probably throw it away. I have a review on two of the shades here.
Oriflame Giordani Gold Youthful Radiance Elixir Primer
This is probably my most used primer ever, I put it in my favourites at the start of 2018 and I still use it. I'm glad there is still plenty left. I know that I once said that I don't use primer because it's just another step that I don't have time to do, but this one I enjoy using. I use it about three times a week, it depends when I have to wake up and it only takes a few seconds to apply. It has a thin and liquidy texture, it's super easy to blend. It looks shimmery in the bottle but not at all on the skin. If I'm honest, it doesn't look or feel anything special, but when I use my skin just looks better and slightly more glowy, it doesn't look as flat and matte. I will definitely still use it.
Essence Pure Nude Make-up
My everyday product for a long time, I used it up completely, I still have a few samples of it that I can use. I liked it because it was so lightweight. I had a light coverage and it mostly just evened up the skin but I liked it. I have a review but the product is long discontinued.
Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer
I have used this one up quite quickly, I still need to repurchase it. A full review is here.
Essence Stay All Day Translucent Fixing Powder
I made a review of this one two years ago and now it's finally empty. I didn't use it to set my whole face because it was really matte, but for setting my concealer under the eyes. Sometimes it did look a bit dry, that's why I only used it in summer when it was really hot and I didn't want my concealer to crease.
Annemarie Börlind Loose Powder with Hyaluronic Acid
This on the other side was so good as a setting powder, it made my skin look more even and silky smooth. I used it up completely but I will keep the packaging for travelling.
Essence The Beach House TE Duo Blush
Coral is my favourite summer shade for blushes. I did use it a lot, but then I quickly switched back to mauve shades when autumn started. I will keep it and see if I will still use it this year or will I find some other blushes.
Biobaza Sun & Sea Forever Lip Balm
I can't believe how much is still left in this tiny packaging, I'm using this daily, I just can't understand how someone can use up a lip balm haha. It's not a texture that I would use during the day, it's quite waxy and thick but I apply it before I go to sleep and it keeps my lips in good condition. I will still keep it and try to use it up.
Avon Naturals Cosy Vanilla & Sandalwood Body Spray
I didn't manage to empty it, it is on about 1/4. I do like it, but not for every day because it is very very sweet. I do like sweet and fruity perfumes, but this is too sweet that I would use it all the time.
Balea Cake Pop Handschaum
When I bought this hand cream and thought that it will be empty after a few uses but it lasted ages. It felt that it lasted longer than the normal hand cream but I doubt that. I love these foam products, they feel so nice and airy and are fun to use. This one had a nice scent sweet scent to it, but it wasn't particularly nourishing. More here.
Avon Advanced Techniques Dry Shampoo
I'm giving this to someone or throwing it away because it's awful. I don't mean the actual dry shampoo, that was okay, but the scent is horrible. The scent never goes away, I could smell my hair even after the whole day out and I hated it. I'm definitely not using it again.
Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Nourishing Dry Oil Spray
Another product that I don't like. Again, it was nice to use, I mixed it with body cream and it was okay, but it leaked so I had to keep it in a container and it was just messy. The sticker peeled off too. Also, I used it every day for months and it didn't want to get empty, now I will throw it away.
Avon Nutra Effects Refreshing Gel Cleanser
I forgot I had this one in my Projects that I want to use up, so I put it in my empties and I throw it away. Here is that empties post if you want to know what I think about it.
