I received a few packages from Avon in spring and summer, so I decided to throw them all together in a blog post. These summer products are mostly new launches if I'm not mistaken and I have already found some favourites.
Avon Mark West Coast Way Flashlight Fx Illuminating Drops*
I was very excited to try these drops. I got the shade Flickering Lights that looks like those unicorn white reflecting highlighters. Compared to my two other such products that I haven't talked about on my blog yet (I don't even know why I keep them because I never use them), this one isn't so pigmented, it feels watered down. The shade is reflective like I said, it reflects purple/blue and it has a lot of shimmer. I probably won't use it because it looks horrible on my tanned skin but I have the bronzed version of the drops on my WL.
Avon Nail Moisture Mask*
This has such an unusual scent that I absolutely hate, I don't know what it is but I don't like it. I will probably give it to someone. I can't even find this product anywhere so I'm not sure if it's new or not.
Avon Care Nurturing Hand Cream*
This one, on the other hand, smells nice, it smells creamy and a bit like almonds, but it's still not my favourite scent. Avon says the cream helps to soothe and smooth dry skin and that it leaves nails looking and feeling healthy. I have tried it a couple of times and it doesn't feel heavy when I apply it but it does leave a film which I hate, so I will stick to my L'Occitane or Melvita hand creams.
Avon True Nutra Effects Hydration Boosting Sheet Mask*
I had this on my last wishlist so I was happy when I got it in the mail. The mask contains cactus extract and hyaluronic acid. They say it's formulated to help lock in moisture, deep within skin's surface layers and help enhance skin's ability to defend against environmental stressors. The sheet is soaked with product and the shape of the sheet actually fits me well. It's smaller than Balea sheet masks and it fits much better. I left it on for more than half an hour I didn't see a big difference on my skin right after using it but the next day my skin was visually more hydrated.
Avon Senses Infusions Collection Chi Green Tea & Verbena Shower Gel*
Avon shower gels are one of my favourites. This ones smells so nice, like summer, but not fruity and sweet but more green, I don't know how to describe it, it does smell like it says, like green tea and verbena but it's a subtle and fresh scent that I know I will enjoy using. It has a nice formula, not too thick, not too runny, something in the middle. It doesn't dry out my skin and it doesn't nourish it either. I strongly suggest picking out a few of Avon's summer shower gels, they always smell amazing.
Avon Perceive Sunshine Eau de Parfum*
The packaging and the bottle are absolutely gorgeous. This is a type of perfume that I would normally like but at the start, I didn't, now it grew on me. Top notes are mango, bergamot and mandarin orange. Middle notes are jasmine, mimosa and magnolia. Base notes are sandalwood and musk. It's a fruity citrusy scent. It stays on me for a long time. Once, I sprayed it on in the morning and I even smelled it when I woke up in the middle of the night. I don't know why, but I don't see myself wearing it much, I prefer fruity and sweet scents.
Avon Attraction Sensation Eau de Parfum*
This is my new love, I have been using it ever since I got it, it has become my go-to perfume. I loved the Attraction Rush version, this one is a third version of the Attraction perfumes. Notes are spicy ginger, oriental mandarin, jasmine, with orris freesia and bold leather. It's a sweet and perfect fragrance for me. I talked about it before that I always spray fragrances once on me, I don't like them being overpowering, because I get headaches and migraines, but this one I spray twice and it's not too strong, I can smell it when I put my nose to it, but it's not up-in-the-nose-when-I-walk-by strong, perfect for my taste.
I found some products that I love, like the Attraction Sensation Eau de Parfum and the Chi Green Tea & Verbena Shower Gel and some products that I didn't like, like the Illuminating Drops and Nail Moisture Mask. Out of all the products I really recommend Avon's shower gels, they are always on offer and you can get them quite cheap, and also the Attraction Sensation fragrance if you like sweet scents.
