I don't keep up with Essence lipliners, it seems they have a new line every half a year and they're constantly discontinuing old ones. I own one from the Soft Contouring line but I'm not really sure if it's available anymore. The Draw The Line range is also being discontinued, so I got this lipliner for around 70 cents.
The Draw The Line Instant Colour Lipliner comes in a slim packaging that is in the shade of the lip liner, the cap is black. In it, you get 0,25g of product. You also get a sharpener in the back.
Shade 05 So Un-Grey-Tful is cool and greyish toned mauve, very autumnal and I find these shades suit me well. It's very similar to the liquid lipstick Essence had two years ago in one of their limited editions, called Coast'n'Chill, you can see the swatches on the photo bellow.
The formula is pigmented and quite creamy, it is easy to apply. The finish is matte and it can also emphasize dry patches. Even though it's matte and it looks dry on the lips, it feels very lightweight, I can't even feel it on the lips. It also impressed me how long it lasted on my lips, I didn't expect this at all. Even with makeup remover, it was hard to remove.
The formula is great, I like that it feels so lightweight on the lips and it lasts well. The finish is matte and you have to prepare your lips well before wearing it because it can quickly look too dry. Also, the Un-Grey-Tful is a nice autumn shade for my collection.
