Avon True Euphoric Volume & Length Mascara

I have tested quite a lot of Avon's mascaras, for some you can also find reviews on my blog. Except for the Mark SpectraLash Mascara none impressed me much, I don't even remember most of them because they were just average or just didn't do what I wanted for me. This one is an exception and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

The Euphoric Volume & Length Mascara comes in a metallic purple tube that contains 10ml of product and the regular price for it is 10,90€. The wand is chunky and hourglass-shaped, with densely packed bristles. It can sometimes hold a bit too much product.

The formula is on a thicker and drier side. I love how it performs on my lashes, it gives them lots of definition and that's exactly what I'm looking for in mascaras. It claims to lengthen the lashes and I can confirm that but I can't say much about volume since my lashes are pretty great in that department but I would say it performs well. I do find myself needing two coats, I usually go only for one with my favourite mascaras. The second coat makes my lashes full and it doesn't clump them together.

The shade is not even black and I wouldn't even figure it out if I didn't see Petra mentioning it. The shade is called Brown black but it's more of a black. Maybe that's why I like it so much, maybe it looks softer on my eyes than straight-up black but I can't say a lot about that because, like I said, I only noticed when Petra pointed it out.

I do notice a crumb here and there when wearing the mascara but I don't mind it because it doesn't happen often. Keep in mind it's not a waterproof formula so it won't survive crying but it does perform well in a sweaty workout. It only smudged once on me, just when I started writing this review when I have worn it numerous times already. I was outside and it was windy, so my eyes started to water, the mascara started to smudge and it got into my eye, so I had to remove it because it hurt. I just wanted to mention this, it's probably not a mascara for very sensitive eyes. I also noticed it's not the easiest mascara to remove but with my Ombia makeup remover, it removes just fine.

Euphoric mascara looks thick and defining on the lashes, it is not a natural-looking mascara. The only other mascara from Avon that I remember liking is the Mark SpectraLash, which Petra also pointed out (funnily, I didn't even read her review before I started writing mine), so we clearly have similar taste in mascaras. I really like the mascara, it was a nice surprise and it has become my go-to mascara for some time but now I found another one from Avon that I like even more.
